What it can and can't do
Can it force the AI to follow the rules?
No. Holdfast reminds Grok, ChatGPT and Claude of your facts, rules and decisions when they connect. It can't force a model to obey them.
Do my old chats move across when I switch?
No. The chats stay with Grok, ChatGPT or Claude. Holdfast only carries the facts, rules and decisions you saved.
Where does my data go?
The Holdfast file stays on the machine running it. Your chats still go to the AI providers, the same as they do today.
Does it check the AI's answers?
Only against your saved record. It matches what the AI says with what you saved. It's a record match, not a second brain, and it can't tell you whether the record itself is right.
Which AIs does it work with?
Claude Desktop connects in one click. ChatGPT and Grok connect with a link I set up for you. Those are the ones I support today.
Can I download it myself?
Not yet. There's no public download. I set up every trial with you so it works first time.
Is anyone using it now?
Two testers, and their Holdfasts run on my machine today. No paying customers yet. I'd rather tell you that than pretend otherwise.
